Galaxy Alpha is finally launched in India at INR 39,990

Galaxy Alpha was already launched in the UK two weeks ago and it has finally landed India at INR 39,990 which means $653. This metal-clad Android Smartphone has finally made it to India and will be available from the first week of October. It is accessible via online stores and normal brick and motor stores as well.

Samsung has also joined hands with Airtel (one of the leading telecom operators in India) to provide the customers 5GB free 4G LTE data for 2 months! Don’t you think it’s amazing? Samsung is continuously striving to offer best devices at best possible prices. It has decided that it will provide 4G LTE devices in the country which is priced under INR 40,000 or $650. AsimWarsi(VP at Samsung India) himself declared “We will come out with more 4G devices in near future which will be priced under Rs 40,000.”

Let’s brush up the features of Alpha. It has 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display,a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, a 12-megapixel camera with 4K video recording,a heart-rate monitor and a finger-print sensor. Plus, it is equipped with an octa-core Exynos 5430 processor with Mali-T628 MP6 GPU, 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. The battery backup is quite normal like any other device (1,860 mAh battery). Alpha has a metallic frame with only 6.7 mm thin.
