Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Gets Android KitKat Update

A good news for the Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 users as Samsung has officially released the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update. Galaxy Note 10.1 was officially released August, 2012 with Android OS 4.0.4  but later it was upgrade to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. It did not received the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, however it has now got a major update which is KitKat and most of the Samsung devices are impatiently waiting for the update.

Update is initially released in Germany according to the Sammobile sources. Updates are always released in phases so definitely you’ve to wait for your region to get the official update otherwise you can also flash this update using Odin. We are soon going to release a guide.

Android KitKat will definitely brings improvement in over all performance of your device, other features includes the usual KitKat features. To check that your device has received the OTA update notification, Go to Settings > General > About phone > Software updates.
