Finally Android 4.4.2 KitKat is now officially released for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. It is initially released for the International variant which GT-N5100 and the Korean SWH-M500. SAMmobile has confirmed it in South Korea and Poland. In those regions, Update is available through Samsung Kies or OTA. If you do have same devices with model numbers as stated above then you can easily update your Galaxy Note 8.0 to KitKat. To check the update open the Kies and update your tablet or else if you’ve got good speed of WiFi or high speed network then Go to Menu > Settings > More > About device> Software Update. If the update is available for your tablet then update from there.
Don’t worry, If your Galaxy Note 8.0 model hasn’t received any update in your region. It is expected that Samsung is soon going to release the KitKat update for other variants and regions.
