Chainfire has released the CF-Auto Root package for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 WiFi model number SM-T320. You can use this step by step rooting procedure to easily root and gain full root access to your tablet. This is one of the easiest and safe way to root your tablet the easy way, as it does not requires great knowledge, we’ll simply flash the rooted kernel via the Odin3 flashing tool. If you’ve decided to root your tablet, then follow the rooting procedure for Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 WiFi down below. Note that this method will trip the Samsung Knox, however down below I have given instructions on how to deal with it.

- Go to Settings and Developers Options and Enable USB Debugging. If you’re unable to locate Developers Options, Go to About Device and tap the Build Number for about 7 to 8 times.
- Carefully read and follow the rooting instructions to safely and successfully root your device.
How to Root Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (WiFi SM-T320) using Odin3
Step 1: First unzip the CF-Root package and Odin to a new folder.
Step 2: Run Odin v3.07.
Step 3: Reboot your Galaxy Tab Pro into ‘Download Mode’.
Step 4: Connect your tablet to PC via the USB cable and make sure Odin detects your device.
Step 5: Click the ‘PDA’ button and select the tar.md5 rooted kernel file from the unzipped folder.
Step 6: Next, Click the ‘Start’ button to flash the cf-root package, this will install the SuperSU binary and stock recovery.
Step 7: Once it gets completed, Odin3 will notify you via the PASS!! message and your tablet will automatically reboots.
Step 8: That’s it! Now once your phone reboots, Check that SuperSU has been installed. Open Google Play Store, search for ‘Root Checker’ App, install it and launch to verify to root access.
That’s it! Your Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has successfully been Rooted on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Enjoy full root access to your tablet. You can now install apps from Google Play Store which requires root access as well as flash custom recovery to experience custom rom.

In the Odin v3.09 there isn’t a PDA button. I used the BL button to select the file
AP does the same thing as PDA.
