How to Root LG G Pro 2 – One Click Root for All Variants

LG G Pro 2 was officially unveiled in February, 2014, which is another high end android smartphone by LG with 5.9-inch full HD display, 2.26GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage, 13 mega pixel camera and running the latest Android OS, Android 4.4.2 KitKat. XDA Member, AutoPrime, has already released a working One Click Root method for LG G Pro 2, which is I guess is a faster, easier, and safer way to root your phone using the IOroot. There are many features you can gain by rooting your device like installing root required apps from Google Play Store, Custom Recovery which helps you to flash Custom ROM and kernels which can further improve and customize the performance of your device. Follow the step-by-step instructions on how to gain root access on your LG G Pro 2.

How to Root LG G Pro 2

Guidelines and Requirements:

  • Rooting your device will voids its warranty. So think before you ink and therefore root at your own risk!!
  • This rooting procedure is compatible for the following variants:

– LG G Pro 2 F350K
– LG G Pro 2 F350L
– LG G Pro 2 F350S

  • Download and Install USB drivers on your PC if you’ve already not installed. HERE
  • Go to Settings>> Developers Options and Enable USB Debugging.
  • Before proceeding for the root process, it is recommended that your Backup any data stored on your device.

How to Root LG G Pro 2 Using IOroot (Compatible with All Variants)

Step 1: First of all get the IOroot24, One Click Root tool for LG G Pro 2. Download HERE

Step 2: After downloading the rooting script (ioroot24.zip), extract it to a new folder on your desktop.

Step 3: Make sure that you’ve installed USB drivers on your PC. Connect your phone to PC via the USB data cable.

Step 4: Open the extracted folder, and depending on your Operating system:

  • Windows: Double-click on root.bat
  • Linux: Double click on root.sh
  • Mac: Double click on root.sh

Step 5: Next you’ll see this screen as shown in the image below:

Step 6: Once you’ve implemented the guidelines as stated in the image above, Press any key to continue rooting your phone.

Step 7: Wait for a few seconds and it will automatically root your phone and once it gets completed your phone will automatically reboots.

Step 8: Once done, Open Google Play Store, and Install “Root Checker” to confirm and verify full root access on your phone.
