T-Mobile Galaxy S4 Gets Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update

T-Mobile recently released the Android 4.3 OTA Update for Galaxy S3, following that the Galaxy S4 has also been updated to Android 4.3 with some major improvements, which definitely should improve the performance of your phone in terms of stability and so on. They also stated that the update will be rolling out from today and till the month of February, which is probably too long, but don’t worry folks, we’ll very soon post a method to manually flash the Android 4.3 Update on your T-Mobile Galaxy S4. This is what the T-Mobile has officially stated on their website:

Beginning November 26, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 will have an optional software update to Android version 4.3 / Software M919UVUEMK2 via Over-the-Air manual pull down and Samsung Kies over Wi-Fi only. This update includes KNOX and Samsung Gear support.

Major Improvements Includes:

  • KNOX
  • Samsung Galaxy Gear support

The Android 4.3 update brings support for the Galaxy Gear, KNOX, as I stated above performance improvements and better and faster user experience, new camera features has also been added. Additionally 2 new home screen modes, visual touches to the interface, and improvements to T-Mobile’s Visual Voice mail and ISIS apps.

You can check the update notification by going to Menu->Settings->About Device and Software Update. Once you get the notification you can then connect to Wi-Fi and download and install the Update. Update is almost 780MB so make sure you’ve got enough battery charge and good speed of internet. Make sure you’re not rooted and you’re already running the UVUAMDL Firmware.
