Gapps or Google Apps are set of useful applications which comes pre-installed with almost every android device. These apps includes Google Play Store, Gmail, Maps, Search, Chrome, YouTube, Drive, Keyboard and Google Hangouts. If you’re one of those android users who are interested in rooting and flash Custom ROMs then probably you would need Gapps or Google Apps, as a Custom ROM like CyanogenMod, ParnoidAndroid, PAC-man, AOKP, SlimBean, OmniROM, Carbon and so on does not have these apps pre-installed.
It does not mean that you can’t run a Custom ROM without these apps, no its not like that, however these are essential apps that almost every android users need, Play Store which have millions of free apps, Google Search, I am pretty sure everyone uses this one. I have given the download links to Gapps for all Android Custom ROM which are based on Jelly Bean and KitKat.

How to Install Gapps
Once you download the Google Apps for your android, you now need to flash it through Custom Recovery, it can be ClockworkMod or TWRP, However method for flashing or installing the Gapps is almost same.
Step 1: First of all download the required gapps zip file package for your Android device from the above download links.
Step 2: Connect your phone to PC and copy the zip file to your SDcard.
Step 3: Now reboot into recovery mode using the key sequence appropriate for your device.
Step 4: Choose ‘install zip‘ > ‘choose zip from sdcard‘.
Step 5: Navigate through storage directory where you’ve placed the zip file.
Step 6: Confirm and wait for the Gapps zip file to be to installed.
Step 7: Navigate back to the main recovery menu and select the option ‘reboot’ or ‘reboot system now’.
