RecoverX: The Easiest and Simple way to Install Custom Recovery

RecoverX is a great app to directly install Custom Recovery on Android Phone and Tablet device. Developed by XDA recognized developer, which has made the process of installing custom recovery simple. For those of you who don’t know much about Custom Recovery, it is a bootable partition for Android devices to flash Custom Android OS, like Custom ROMs, kernels and other tweaks, which helps you to customize and improve the performance of your android. Without wasting any further time, lets get started on how to use RecoverX to install Custom Recovery on almost any Rooted Android Phone/Tablet. The App supports the following Custom Recoveries:

  • ClockworkMod  Recovery(CWM)
  • TWRP Recovery
  • Amon-Ra Recovery
  • Xrecovery

Guidelines:

  • Root Access
  • BusyBox App should be installed.
  • You’ll need to have Unlocked bootloader (required for some android devices)
  • Currently it supports a number of Android devices, I have given the list of devices, so check your device before you try to install it.
  • Currently, it is still in beta version, so you might face some issues during the installation, however it has been tested on a number of devices and its working perfectly.

 How to Use RecoverX:

As I have told you RecoverX helps you to easily download and install Custom Recovery suitable for your android device.

Step 1:Hopefully you’ve read the above guidelines before you flash the Custom Recovery.

Step 2: Open the Google Play Store App on your device and search for ‘RecoverX‘ and install it.

Step 3: After the successfully installations, Launch the app.

Step 4: Tap the ‘Let’s start’.

  1. i have Galaxy s3 shv-210s. but it is not listed in supporting devices. can i still install custom recovery???
